LET'S FACE IT 2023

 

It is a year-long art course devoted to studying portraits and figures. 

It is for anyone who wants to practice creating portraits and figurative art, 

and geared toward all levels: beginners, intermediate and advanced artists.

Each week in 2023, you will receive one new lesson 

from one of the guest artists. 

These lessons are created to inspire you and expose you to 

different ways of drawing and painting the face and figure. 

We all know that there is not a one size fits all way to learn. 

Together, we want to share with you our strategies,

 tips, and techniques that we use in order to create 

our portrait and figurative artwork hoping you will 

find something that works for you to help you continue on 

your journey of creating portraits.

Fanta cake by Ildy

Ingredients:
1, CAKE BASE

6 eggs

6 tablespoon sugar

6 tablespoon  flour

6 tablespoon oil (sunflower)

1/2  package bakingpowder   (last time I forget and it was ok without)

2 tablespoon cocoa powder

devide the eggs to yellow and white

white  - beat the egg whites into a hard cream
yellow +sugar+oil   mix them well

add the flour+bakingpowder + cocoa to it mix them well

add half of the cream and misx it than the other half but mix it carefully, dont break the cream

pour into a baking dish  (you can add a baking paper under it

Bake it on 180 to middle brown (make a fork test)

2 CREAM


250 g butter
300g sugar   mix them well
add 500g  curd cheese and some lemon peel

If it is smooth smear it on top of the cake (in the baking dish)

3 YELLOW TOP

7,5 dl  Fanta orange   (can be anything like coke too)
2 tablespoon sugar  (the bubbles goes out)
2 vanilla pudding powder

put most of the Fanta into a bowl heat it add 2 tablespoon sugar and the bubbles come out,
with about 1 dl Fanta stir the powder, than add to the bowl
Heat it until little darker yellow parts appear, stir continously until it is thickens.

Carefully smear it on the white cream

Let it dry and put it into the fridge, cut next day or later when it cooled down
