Many Faces of Charcoal by Juna Biagioni

The Many Faces of Charcoal is an online charcoal portrait course which starts March 4 and runs for six weeks.
Each week we’ll start with an exercise to get familiar with the supplies and loosen up a little. Then we’ll do a full, in-dept project in which we’re going to create a charcoal portrait from start to finish. Every project will be different, using different techniques or styles. I will show and tell you exactly what I do and why I do it, so you can learn & practice the techniques and implement them in the future in your own style.
You get lifetime access to the course website and all videos can be downloaded, so you can keep them forever.

Benne vagyok az újságban

Felhívott egy kedves újságíró hölgy pár nappal ezelőtt és mondta, hogy a következő Életképek számába készít egy riportot nők napja alkalmából a nőiességről:))

Kérdés ez volt: Művészként és magánemberként mit jelent a nőiesség: hogy tudsz kiteljesedni, hogyan tudod megélni nőként a mindennapokat, feladatokat.

Én ezt válaszoltam:

Igazából nem kellene befolyásolnia a napi tevékenységünk azt, hogy hogyan éljük meg a nőiességünket, de mégis. Nekem óriási szabadság, hogy nem foglalkozom azzal ki mit gondol, hogyan dicsér vagy ítélkezik. Elkerül de nem is rólam szól. Saját értékrendem van, szinte kiskorom óta. Otthon alkotóként nem mindig van erőm csinibe öltözni de ettől még úgy érzem sugárzik belőlem nő és a festményeimből pedig a lágyság és a szeretet. Engem nagyon bánt, hogy a férfi női szerepek felcserélődnek. Nem arra gondolok, hogy ki mit csinál a háztartásban mert az inkább attól függ kinek mennyi ideje van. Inkább az, hogy a férfi női erők átrendeződnek. Azt látom, hogy a nők nem hagyják hogy a férfiak igazi férfiak legyenek aztán csodálkoznak hogy nem bánnak velük királynőként. Nagyon fontos, hogy jó példát mutassunk a gyermekeinknek.

For the womanday a journalist asked some question about femininity, and does it mean for me as an “artist” to be a woman. And this is what I told her:

Actually, we should not influence our daily activity on how to live our femininity, but nevertheless. It is a great freedom for me to ignore what others think and doesn’t care about their praise or judging. I have my own value system since almost my childhood. As an artist who works at home I do not always have the power to dress pretty every morning but I still feel shining as a woman and my paintings are softness and love. I’m really worried that male roles change. I do not think so who isdoing in the housework because it depends on how long it takes and who has time for it. Rather, the male forces are rearranging. I see that women do not let men be real men and then wonder that they do not treat them as queens. It is very important to show a good example to our children.
